Hi, I’m Amanda — a writer, educator, marketer, and experience designer driving the future of education through curiosity, collaboration, & creativity.

I create spaces where education, design, and empathy meet.

I’m a communicator and creative with expertise in experiential learning, integrated cross-channel marketing, and all levels of global education partnerships.

I am particularly focused on life “transitions” and gap years.

It all really started on a trip to Fiji as a 16-year-old. I have since lived and worked in New York, Washington, D.C., London, the English countryside, and Mexico City. My latest adventure was to Antarctica—ask me about it when we meet!

Helping young people find their purpose is my purpose. I wholeheartedly believe that every young person should take a purposeful year of exploration to find theirs.

Organizations I’ve worked with: The National Geographic Channel, Columbia University, US-UK Fulbright Commission/Fulbright Awards, ISEP, DoSomething.org, STA Travel, and Minerva Project.

I’m also a textile artist, aviation enthusiast, cookbook author, proud Latina, and aspiring gardener.

My credentials: a certificate in Educating Global Citizens from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a certificate in Architecture & Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, a Master’s in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management from SIT Graduate Institute, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Education from Vassar College. I was also an exchange student at Dartmouth College.
